Before, in Unity 5.4, we had a sliding caused by the collider being in a different place than the visible structure:

To this bug I should have attached this video:

When entering into a cockpit attached to the grid on which the sliding occurs, the sliding is greatly attenuated but is still there.

People used to enter into a stasis chamber to remove the sliding.
That was fixing the sliding by moving the object to the collider.
It was fixed after this report:

How was the object jumping to the collider after sleeping in stasis chamber?
Can the collider be forced to jump to the object?

What would be the behavior if the Sleep Threshold is slightly increased?
