So Im building a nice size shipyard to bring a desroyer, deep sae rocovery, and few other huge ships to the workshop. I stopped to eat, after clicking the hand to eat some dried fruit "Bam!!" the game crashed to the desktop. Too much mustard?? Love what you're doing guys!! Best game since 380 mods on Fallout 4
This is the so called "overreactive physics bug" . I marked on the grid 3 blocks: green, red and black. I was cutting small pieces of about 20 blocks starting with the green block and going toward the red one on the right. After removing the red and black blocks, the short segment was jumping a lot, and went over the sea. The physics is not deterministic, so the exact same segments will not have the same behavior after load. However, there is a very high probability to observe the effect…
Your game just degrades as i play it validating all my previous complaints. Two days of work suddenly became unstable and disappeared killing my character.
I have no building at this moment. I am a nomad. But you know the bug. It is on the nomad road map. (Note: this text box is annoying. I have a reflex to delete a row. I press in fast succession: Home, Shift + End, Del. But in this text box it will delete the entire content. And there is no Undo feature. You are so unfriendly with your users...)
Sometime the avatar is sliding on surfaces. In the attached save, remove the yellow block and move on top of the vehicle. Try 10-20 times. In some cases, the sliding is very strong. Looking to the suspensions, vibrations can be noticed. The grid is certainly not in sleep state.
Wheel in contact with the same grid causes movement. The game should detect collision with own grids and disable power in such cases or set the friction of that particular wheel to 0. In future it could also break the grid, or the joint holding it. based on the "same grid" condition.
Winch pulling a subgrid of the grid where the winch is located, causes rotation. A similar effect happens if the joint which creates the subgrid is under the pressure of a hover pad. I made a copy of the engine shown by you in 0.7.6 Hovercraft update. I removed the corners and I expected to see the blocks rotate due to inertia. Fly up 264m. Keep pressing space. The vehicle will transition to an almost vertical position. (Bug1) Afterwards, go down and test flying upwards and downwards. The rear air blades which never reached the highest altitude seem much more active than the front air blades. (Bug2) - (when I press 'end' key in this edit box, I expect to jump to the end of the row, not to the end of the text) -
I never made oxygen tanks in survival. Still, in some places, I can stay under water for a very long time. More than my patience allows to wait to test the timer.
